C-TPAT is a voluntary U.S. initiative to increase supply chain security against terrorism. The certified companies are regarded as reliable partners and should be given preferential treatment for imports into the USA.

Since 2019 EgeTrans has a quality management system (QMS) certified by TÜV Süd in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. A QMS supports companies in the optimisation of processes and the control of documentation and communication.

An "Authorized Economic Operator" is considered particularly reliable and trustworthy and can take advantage of customs simplifications.

Issued for EgeTrans USA, Inc. by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration (TSA). EgeTrans USA, Inc. first received the license in June 2005 and has been recertified annually ever since.

An Indirect Air Carrier is an approved air freight carrier that does not own or manage any aircraft itself. As a logistics service provider, EgeTrans fits this description. This license is very important to EgeTrans USA, Inc. as it guarantees that we does comply with the requirements under US Code of Federal Regulations Tile 49 Part 1548 (49 CFR 1548) and have adopted a security program that meets TSA requirements.
